All Film Projects
I specialize in creating engaging film content for travel, outdoor adventure and lifestyle topics. I work with clients to conceptualize, shoot and edit story-driven films with a blend of traditional video, timelapse photography and aerial shots. Let's work together!
A tourism promo film produced with Matador Network for Travel South Dakota. This is a week in a '99 VW Eurovan from the Black Hills to the Badlands to the eastern prairies.
A tourism promo film produced with Matador Network for Visit Denver. This project highlighted the cultural aspects of Denver with a focus on creative makers in different industries around the city - brewers, coffee roasters, artists, chefs, musicians, mixologists, apparel manufacturers and urban adventurers.
There's this place that’s a college town with a vibrant, walkable downtown and a laid-back population of makers, doers, and adventurers. Throw in a gorgeous mountain backdrop, some of the country’s best fly fishing, and a legit craft beer scene, and you’ve basically arrived at my personal version of paradise.

A highlight from the #wintertribemeetup, a winter camping instameet organized by Instagram superstar @moonmountainman. Almost 80 people showed up on the edge of the Indian Peaks Wilderness, northwest of Denver, to spend a weekend in the winter woods and connect with people who were crazy enough to do the same.
There was below-zero windchill, but a warm fire burned continuously for three days. There was whiskey and many new friends to share with. There was even a 18-month-old badass named Jack, though I think he opted for hot cocoa. We learned some night photography tips, how to build a snow cave and the art of filling a water bottle with boiling water before bed and burying it in your sleeping bag. Most importantly we learned that winter camping, though certainly challenging, is way better than summer camping.

India. Unlike anywhere else I've ever traveled. Like stepping into a long, dark tunnel and being launched into an alternate reality where every sense is ramped up to 11. Exploding levels of heat, sound, smell, color, spice in every scene.

I worked with the team at Visit Gunnison-Crested Butte to show off the summer side of Crested Butte. Legendary mountain biking, paddleboarding, stellar camp spots and a legit food and dining scene, this small Colorado town has it all. And that's without even mentioning the stunning wildflowers that sprawl on every hillside.

The result of an amazing 10-day press trip to Thailand with Matador in 2014. Published on Matador Network: matadornetwork.com/tv/5-reasons-always-love-thailand/
Music: "Hearts Aflutter" by Podington Bear
From comments in travel forums to gossip in hostel bars, I’ve heard the criticisms of Thailand — it’s too mainstream, too easy, too crowded for an authentic experience. “Thailand is so overrated…go to Laos instead,” or “Myanmar is the only real place left in Southeast Asia.”
But in July I returned to Thailand for the third time and spent two weeks traveling in Bangkok and northern Thailand. And somewhere between a bareback elephant ride through the steaming Golden Triangle jungle and a $1 plate of sinfully rich stewed pork leg at a Chiang Mai night market, I realized these pretentious critics couldn’t be more wrong. Thailand is freaking awesome.
For years, Katarina hid who she really was for fear of being bullied by her classmates. Tired of covering up her true self, she decided to share her secret and hopes to encourage others to do the same. This is the story of a middle school coming together to support her on her journey to be herself.
What began as a way to inform her classmates about her decision, turned viral with over 20,000 plays on Vimeo and was picked up by CNN and the Israeli news network, Mako. It is also being used as an awareness and educational resource by the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.
By far, the most meaningful project I've ever worked on and gave me a chance to get to know an amazing young lady who would become an inspiration well beyond her school community.
Client piece and live event highlight. Created for Chef Brother Luck, of Brother Luck Street Eats in Colorado Springs.
An inside look at the Street Illusion Dinner at Brother Luck Street Eats. A six-course, 3-cocktail special event dinner inspired by magic and illusion.

My submission for the MatadorU Video Contest of my very best GoPro footage from the past two years. Until I started digging around on some hard drives, I didn't realize how much awesome GoPro footage I had sitting around from India, Nepal, Thailand and some outdoor adventures in Colorado. Putting it all together in one edit made me seriously appreciate the incredible places I've been fortunate enough to visit and the beautiful people I've gotten to explore them with!
