WILD TODDLER CHRONICLES
Wild Toddler Chronicles is an original short documentary series that focuses on an intensely personal subject: my daughter. A story in three chapters, this project documents our ongoing quest to expose her to the beauty of the world’s wild places and allow her to experience the healing and formative power of the natural world.
CHAPTER THREE: LEGACY
Armed with an endless supply of fruit snacks, plenty of extra underwear and a pile of old photographs, two parents set out to retrace the route of an old adventure, this time with a two-year-old in tow, hoping to prove that you don’t have to be a social media influencer or sponsored athlete to inspire the next generation to care about wild places.
Featuring original artwork by Andrea Slusarski.
CHAPTER TWO: PREPARATION
From piles of clothes and outerwear to diapers and snacks, Chapter Two looks at the massive amounts of preparation and packing that are involved in getting a cold-weather toddler adventure off the ground.
CHAPTER ONE: Motivations
Chapter One explores the motivations for why it’s worth the effort of bringing our two-year-old daughter along on outdoor adventures and the reality of what it takes to make those adventures happen.
